12 November 2009 - "The Hillbilly Moon Explosion are in reduction". That was the status message on studio engineer Neil Brockbank's Facebook page. Meaning: We've successfully completed tracking and are now mixing. I.e. reducing the 8, 16 or whatever tracks down to 2 stereo ones. So far this has been a great, great session! We won't let you in on too many secrets quite yet. Maybe just this: There are 2 songs in Italian. And a duet between Emanuela and an equally legendary and very extraordinary guest singer...

30 October 2009 - 14 songs in 4 days! I don't think we've ever been that productive. No wonder our guitar player's dancing - check out the Duncan Dance!

27 October 2009 - Just thought we'd let you know what we're up to. Currently in London recording the new album. And this guy is producing: Greg Townson - a dear friend and most of you will know him as the lead singer of Rochester's finest, The Hi-Risers. This is going to be so good.

24 October 2009 - Wondering why so long a break? The answer: We were holed down in our practice room writing songs for the new album. Yes. A new album. Gotta go now - got a plane to catch.

19 September 2009 - Oliver is sitting in with the boys from the Aad Hollander Trio from Hell this Sunday 20th and next Sunday 27th at the Helsinki Klub. Because Sunday's the night for DRINKING!

22 July 2009 - Can I just mention that the gigs past weekend in Biel/Bienne and Hallau were terrific. Great to be back on stage with such great audiences. Big thanks to all!

29 June 2009 - Hey guess what? Emanuela is performing at the Montreux Jazz Festival on the - hey hey - 4th of July! Which is fitting, since she'll be doing a country set with Handsome Hank and His Lonesome Boys! Parc Vernex at 2330h folks!

17 June 2009 - Just in! The Hillbilly Moon Explosion will be playing the Clanx Festival on 29 August! Now, we played the Clanx a couple of years back and have fond memories (everyone there was 15 and drunk), since it was Duncan's first public gig with the HME. Will be good to be back!

28 May 2009 - Last time Baby! It's the last Rolling Fork Revue gig featuring Duncan, Emanuela, Luke & Oliver. We're doing three sets from 2100h (including our now infamous country set). Come round for a beer or four?

22 June 2006 - You may have noticed, we've got this world cup going on, so let's get a couple of things straight: We're for England. Also for Switzerland. And for Les Bleus. And oh yes, there's too much Italian heritage here for us to ignore the Azzuri, so ... a bit of a mess, eh? Especially since most of these teams have so far been a bit crap. Meanwhile, Emanuela is in love with Wayne Rooney.

27 March 2006 - News from the West Coast: Look forward to a killer new album from the HME. This week we're having Eddie Angel (Los Straitjackets, The Neanderthals) come in and do his guest thing. But a more detailed account of that later. Meanwhile, Emanuela has totally settled into the SoCal lifestyle. She's been spotted in downtown San Diego at vintage car dealers, pointing at E-Types and 'Vettes. It'll be real estate agents next. You watch. And yours truly has actually learnt to drink the stuff you Americans call coffee. It's the way you ladies serve it - makes it all worthwhile. Anyway - we'll be posting pictures soon. Watch this spot!
